After my husband and I had been married for just a few months, the idea of having some sort of “second family” began to grow on me. I began to wonder what it would be like to move in to a house that belonged to my husband and me. I was ready for a new adventure, and it was time for us to find out what we were in for.
My husband and I were looking for a house to buy since we weren’t ready to be parents ourselves, but we were also starting a new venture of our own. In the end, we settled on a house in the suburbs of Indianapolis, which was perfect for us. The house itself, though, was a little overwhelming. We were both a little confused about what it would be like to live there.
We found out that the house we were looking for was located in the suburbs of Indianapolis, but it was located in the middle of an active police investigation. I didnt know what to expect from the police department, and it didnt take long before I realized that we were in for a bad time. With no time to look around, we decided to just drive around and see what our options were. We decided that we were going to take a trip to the house and look around.
The house we were looking for was located next to the police station. We were about to go in when a police car drove up our driveway. We decided to turn around and go to the house. What we didn’t count on was that the police had a car in the driveway that was blocking the driveway. I think we were just in time though because the police officer quickly hopped out of the car and knocked on the door.
By this point we’re all thinking, “What the heck is going on?” So we decided to take matters into our own hands. We made our way over to the police cruiser (which was parked in the garage), and started to smash in the window. It was a bit of a challenge to get the window out without breaking it, but we managed to get it out.
The police officer noticed the damage and came over to tell us what’s going on in the garage. He proceeded to explain that the window broke out of the car due to the impact of our shoving it from the window in the garage. But the reason the window broke isn’t the police officer’s fault. We all know that the windows on our cars are not supposed to break, and we’re all well aware that cars are designed to roll to the ground, and a car window can’t.
The police officer was adamant that we were responsible for the window breaking. If you get my meaning. But the cop was also pretty adamant that the reason the window broke is because we damaged the door.
But the police officer wasn’t really wrong. The police officer was in the wrong. The police officer was out to get us. Our car was damaged as a direct result of the cop’s actions. The cops reason was that we were drunk and speeding, and that was the cause of the damage to our car. But the cop’s reason was that our window broke because we did something stupid like slam the door shut. So I’d say at this point the cop’s reason was pretty good.
It’s true that the cop’s reason was pretty bad, especially since he’d obviously be doing his job better if he were a little more thorough. But the truth is, the cop was in the wrong. The cop was actually right. We did destroy our car. We did damage our car. We did destroy our car. We did damage our car. The cops were right. We messed up. But we messed up and we messed up and it was our car. We messed up.
